Conrad Hotels changes brand The Conrad hotel brand has announced that it is changing its corporate brand identity from Conrad Hotels to Conrad Hotels & Resorts. The move comes at a time of extensive growth and development for the luxury brand and emphasizes the fast-evolving portfolio of Conrad's hotels and resorts globally. In 2005 Conrad Hotels, the luxury brand of the Hilton Family, signed a management agreement with The Bahamas-based RAV Bahamas Limited, a subsidiary of The Capo Group, to operate and manage the Conrad Bimini Bay Resort and Casino, located on the island of North Bimini, which will be completed in 2008, and is Conrad's first hotel in the Caribbean. The transformation of Conrad's corporate brand will be most noticeable in the new name, Conrad Hotels & Resorts as well as being reflected in distinct visual refinements to the brand and hotel logos. With a number of new resort projects set to join the Conrad portfolio over the next two years, the new corporate identity will highlight the message that Conrad Hotels & Resorts appeals to both leisure and business travellers, while simultaneously underlining the ever-increasing importance of luxury leisure travel.
Carnival Cruise on the Web Carnival Cruise Lines has created a special Web site showcasing the many features and highlights of its recently announced $250 million "Evolutions of Fun" product enhancement initiative. Located at www.carnival.com/evolutions, the new micro-site provides a comprehensive overview of the cruise industry's most ambitious ship refurbishment program, which is resulting in a dramatic transformation of the line's eight "Fantasy-class" ships. "Fun Ships" in the Fantasy-class are the Fantasy, Ecstasy, Sensation, Fascination, Imagination, Inspiration, Elation and Paradise, which comprise the most successful series of ships ever introduced. The site contains multiple images highlighting "Evolutions of Fun" features such as expansive facilities for children and teens part of the line's popular "Camp Carnival" and "Club O2" programs, along with completely renovated health and fitness centers, atrium lobby and coffee bars. |
