Grand Bahama Business Outlook

Grand Bahama business leaders, ranging from government officials to healthcare providers, will move to outline problems and solutions for the island's economy in the upcoming Business Outlook.

"We are sensitive to the fact that Grand Bahama's economy has remained static or in decline for a number of years and Grand Bahamians despite their resilience need to know what happens next and what action they should take now," said Joan Albury, head of The Counsellors Limited (TCL) and organizer of the Outlook. "This awareness and sensitivity has informed the sectors we have chosen to focus on this year and experts selected to present."

According to a statement sent from TCL, the national spotlight will shine on Grand Bahama Island on February 25 when carefully selected leaders from government, business and healthcare share their insights, strategies, plans and projections for the leading sectors of the Grand Bahamian economy at the Grand Bahama Business Outlook.

"In continuing to provide Outlooks over the years, we feel fulfilled in knowing that we provide a symposium that sets the pace in the business industry," added Albury. "Business Outlook has continued to grow and very shortly the TCL Group will be announcing yet another island that will benefit from our symposium."

This annual one-day forum organized by the TCL Group is now in its 12th year with the theme, "Take Action Now - 2010-2020: A Decade for Action and Accountability". The conference will be held at Portobello, Our Lucaya and begins at 8:30am.
