Leslie Miller was born on March 24th, 1948 in Nassau, Bahamas. He is a member of St. Agnes Anglican Church.
Education: He received his early education at Palmetto Senior High School in Miami Florida, completing his tertiary education at University of Texas at El Paso; where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Adminstration.
Mr. Miller completed Graduate School at the University of Texas, where he studied International Marketing, returning to The Bahamas in 1972.
Civics/Social: Mr. Miller has served as Assistant Vice President of PLanning with the General Bahamian Companies Limited, Vice President of Planning for A.C. Butler/HWB Finance Limited, Chairman of the New Providence Port Authority from 1987 to 1989, Chairman of BEC from 1989 to 1991 and Chairman of Town Planning from 1991 to 1992.
In his desire to contribute to the betterment of human existence, he was a member of the late Prime Minister Pindling’s Youth Task Force on Employment. He is also a member of the American Industrial Development Council.
Professional/Career: A businessman by profession, being the CEO, President and Director of Sunburst Paints, Mario’s Bowling and Family Entertainment Palace & Litec Coatings Limited, Mr. Miller has over thirty years of experience and is the founding president of the Bahamas Light Industries Development Council.
