RBC Junior Championships

Donaldson, incoming president of the BLTA, thanked sponsor RBC, the Tournament Director Jaxon Bain, players, parents and especially the players who traveled from Freeport, Grand Bahama and Eleuthera to participate in this year's junior championships which is normally a clay court event. Incoming first vice president in charge of junior development, Dentry Mortimer, was happy to see a lot of kids getting involved in competitive tennis and likes the passion for the game of tennis that was demonstrated this past weekend. The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association (BLTA) completed a successful RBC Junior Championships over the Easter holiday weekend at the BLTA’s National Tennis Centre, in Oakes Field. The tournament’s director Jackson Bain said that the kids were well behaved and the competition was fierce.
