Dear Editor,
I was in the airport on Friday past when I happened upon your article of the action commenced against the Minister of State for Legal Affairs Damian Gomez and myself et al on behalf of Atain Takitota. As you saw fit to publish my name, kindly afford me the courtesy of pointing out the following: Firstly, I do not know Takitota, have never met him, have had nothing to do with him, and would not recognize him if we passed each other in the street; and Takitota himself can confirm this. Secondly, even if he was a client of the old firm of Deal & Gomez, he was represented by Gomez, and continued to be represented by Gomez after that firm was dissolved over four years ago and I have no knowledge of what, if any, subsequently transpired. I trust out of fairness you will print this.
