| Bahamas misses out on women’s 4x100m |

The Bahamas did not advance to the final of the women’s 4x100m event today. The team of Sheniqua Ferguson, Chandra Sturrup, Christine Amertil and Anthonique Strachan clocked 43.07 seconds and finished sixth in heat one of two. The fastest time was 41.64 seconds, turned in by United States of America. The Bahamas would have needed to finish in the top three, in their heat, to book a lane in the final set for Friday at 3:40 p.m. The men’s 4x400m team will run out of lane six in the final which will get started at 4:20 p.m. |
