I’ve mentioned in other articles recently, the tremendous success of London born Mark Burnett of Mark Burnett Productions, who when he first came to America worked as a nanny in California for $250 a week, who is now one of the top television producers in the world who presently has five top shows airing — “Survivor”, “Celebrity Apprentice”, “The Voice”, “The Boss” and “Shark Tank” — all immensely successful. Well, he was recently being interviewed on CBC, The Canadian Broadcasting Network on the program “Mansbridge One on One” with host Peter Mansbridge. Peter was talking to him about his latest project which he's working on right now, a new dramatic series based on the Bible. Peter asked Mark how he went from producing reality shows to a dramatic series like The Bible. Mark’s answer was indeed most revealing. He said, as he advocates in the various books he has written on success, to always listen to the voice meaning of  course, the still small voice within us all, the voice of God. That's right, as Mark Burnett actually put it to Peter Mansbridge, don't ignore the voice.

My oh my, what great advice to all of us from one of the top television producers in the world, Mark Burnett whose success and rise to the top from nowhere has been phenomenal, to put it mildly. What he's talking about in reality, as anyone who is spiritually minded will fully understand is that we all need to be led by intuition, by that still small voice which is within us all, and which gives us very clear and indeed specific instructions as to what we should do with our life. Yes my friend, don't ever ignore the very important advice given in today's title don't ignore the voice.

I must say, if only I’d listened to the voice to my gut feelings as we so often refer to it, to intuition, I would not have got married for the third time to the person I did eventually marry. My gut feeling told me loud and clear that it would not work out. However, I did not listen to the voice, I was deeply in love and thus allowed my heart to rule my head, which in the end caused me a great deal of pain during the 15-month marriage which ended sadly in divorce.

My friend, God talks to us all from time to time, maybe not audibly, but He definitely tells us deep down within, which direction we should travel, and where we most definitely should not venture. Please don't ignore God, your gut feeling. Don't ignore the voice as Mark Burnett so wisely advises, for if we do, it could lead to a very painful experience. Believe me!
