Let me start today by asking you a question. Are you my friend, inclined to be extremely rigid in your approach to everything in life, with no flexibility whatsoever as you say over and over again, there's only one way to tackle any situation, or to put it in a nutshell, it's my way or the highway. If you answered that question in the affirmative as you are indeed extremely rigid in your daily actions and overall behavior, I suggest, that you most definitely need to become much more flexible.
As my regular readers will know, I live in The Bahamas whose location in the world is in, what we refer to as the hurricane belt. That's right, during the hurricane season which lasts from June 1 to the end of November each year, many tropical storms and full-blown hurricanes affect the region. Now, during hurricanes, and I've witnessed many over the years, many, many trees are broken by the power of the hurricane force winds. However, the palm trees usually survive, and the reason why they survive is that they are very flexible —they are capable of bending when subjected to strong winds without actually breaking.
Of course, the trees which are incapable of bending, which are not flexible, break in so many instances and can be seen strewn all over the roads once the hurricane has passed. Well my friend, human beings need to learn an invaluable lesson from the palm trees, and this lesson is simply to be flexible during the stormy times of our life. The long and the short of it is that if a person is too rigid with no flexibility whatsoever, their life will indeed be broken over and over again.
Yes indeed, we all need to learn a most important lesson here today from God's very flexible palm trees, which even hurricane force winds are unable to break because of their tremendous flexibility. My friend, if you are inclined to be extremely rigid in your overall outlook and daily actions, I suggest that you thoroughly examine your mode of rigid thinking here today, and then vow before God to become much more flexible in dealing with other people and yourself. If initially you're having great difficulty in changing your previous mode of very rigid behavior, why not simply take a deep breath, close your eyes, and go within to the God of your being who will assist in calming you down, and then assist with retraining you to become much more flexible.
If you're still having problems with this perhaps you should make an appoint to visit with a properly trained and licensed clinical hypnotherapist, who will be able to rescript your subconscious. Believe me, when you become more flexible, it will assist you in living a long, healthy, peaceful, fulfilled, and very successful life.
