It was an evening of glitz and glamor for a serious and worthy cause as The Cancer Society of The Bahamas hosted its 12th Annual Ball under the theme “Care, Connect, Cure” at the Sheraton Nassau Resort on Cable Beach.

The Cancer Society of The Bahamas aims to educate the public about cancer so that it may be prevented or diagnosed and treated in its early stages, to be of service to cancer patients, and to raise funds to support the programs.

The society is funded solely by public donations which are raised through the major appeal “Love Lights a Tree”, the annual raffle, the Cancer Society Ball, Stride for Life and special fundraising events, private donations and memorial gifts.
