Shedding light on what God wants from teens
Published: Jul 04, 2013
Raenell Wells, founder of LLITE (Ladies Leading Into Excellence), spoke to teenagers at the recent G5 (Glamorous Girls Giving God Glory) Conference. A special session was held specifically for teenagers, during which time they were encouraged to find their identities and not be afraid to live out loud who God has called them to be.
Wells told the teenagers that sometimes people hide behind masks due to insecurity and hurt, and she encouraged them to find out who they are and to remove those masks. She told them that even if they are not in full understanding of knowing who they are, to find someone they could connect with to become who God has called them to be.
Wells also used her life as an example and said she too has at some point lived behind a mask and had to remove it. She told them she had been afraid to follow her dreams and live out the vision that God had placed on her heart, which she said was in a mask itself. And when she found the courage to remove that mask, she found her true identity and founded LLITE.
Through LLITE, Wells helps women from all walks of life and age groups to find their purpose – mentally, spiritually, physically and financially – and build connections.
