There’s a butterfly in you

As we all know, there's a line in the Bible which states, that we need to be transformed by the renewing of our mind — yes indeed we do. You see, as I have written about on innumerable occasions in these articles over the years, a whole lot of people have been very negatively programmed in their young, formative years, thus they grow up to be rather negative in overall outlook. In a nutshell, these kinds of people have low self-esteem which will hold them back from progressing too far along the road to success. Now we need to fully recognize what has happened to these negative, cynical, skeptical people and endeavor to completely renew their minds, thus giving them a chance to transform their lives. As Joel Osteen put it in a wonderful, very inspiring talk he gave recently on television, “there's a butterfly in you” — in fact, in everyone.
He explained that the very beautiful butterfly started out in life as a worm-like caterpillar just crawling along the ground looking for food to eat. However, at a certain point in its life, the lowly caterpillar spins a cocoon around itself, and after a period of time, a complete metamorphosis takes place as a beautiful butterfly emerges which no longer needs to crawl along the ground, as it can now fly wherever it pleases. Well my friend, that is an excellent analogy for a whole lot of people who have a bad self-image and are thus kinda crawling around in life seeking to be able to just exist from day to day. Likewise, complete metamorphosis is needed with these types of people so that the “real person” created by God in His image and likeness can emerge and thus start to fly to great destinations, achieving goals and objectives with ease and grace.
Yes friend, whether you realize it or not, there's a butterfly in you just waiting to be released, as soon as a complete change in your thinking takes place. To release the butterfly in you, perhaps some professional counseling may be required in order to counteract the negative programming received in your youth, thus assisting you in raising your level of self-esteem which will enable you to really soar.
Yes indeed, a whole lot of people most definitely need to have their minds renewed, reconditioned so that they can stop thinking small, caterpillar, worm-type thoughts thereby releasing the butterfly in them. This will allow them to finally fly to great heights of accomplishment and success. As stated already, this process of transformation may indeed require the assistance of a professional counselor, or even in extremely difficult cases, a visit to a licensed clinical hypnotherapist, in order to completely rescript the subconscious. Yes indeed, there's a butterfly in you, so why not release it and thus start to really soar.
