Artist's cause of death unclear

Although the circumstances surrounding the death of world-renowned Bahamian artist Chan Pratt are unclear, police were careful not to characterize Pratt's death as suspicious.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Hulan Hanna said "absolutely not," when asked if police would classify the death as a suspicious one. However, Hanna would not definitively say whether Pratt died of natural causes.

Police said Pratt, 44, was found dead in the early morning hours on Thursday by a male roommate, in a room at the Colony Club Inn on St. Alban's drive.
