A man charged with allegedly indecently assaulting two females was granted $8,000 bail yesterday. Forty-year-old Randy Brown of Farrington Road was charged with allegedly assaulting two women on April 30 at Penny Saving Bank Lane. Brown was granted $4,000 bail for each charge and is schedule to return to court on August 7. In other news, two teens who allegedly assaulted a man with a handgun, were also granted bail in a magistrates court yesterday. Roland Williams, 18, was charged along with a 17- year-old male with allegedly assaulting Osherado Nixon with a handgun on May 4. The two accused were each granted $3,500 bail. Their matter was adjourned until August 7. And, a 30-year-old man who pleaded guilty to possessing one gram of marijuana will have to provide proof of employment or face spending six months behind bars. Magistrate Linda Virgill granted Willard Colebrooke a conditional discharge on the drug possession charge on Tuesday; however, Colebrooke will have to provide proof of employment; proof that he is currently on sick leave and proof that he went to the hospital for treatment. Colebrooke has until today to bring in the requested items. |
