Pastors Eddie and Margo Victor to speak at Kingdom Award conference By STAFF WRITER, NASSAU GUARDIAN
Living Water Assembly in conjunction with Victory to the Nations is hosting a conference themed: "Keys to the Kingdom" today through Saturday, Nov. 8, and you are invited to attend. According to host pastors Eddie and Margo Victor, everyone has access to a bunch of keys, with some keys having personal and private functions, while other keys open areas for the good of many. "The keys we are talking about are keys that are significant to unraveling life's most difficult circumstances, "said Pastor Eddie, while Pastor Margo said it's time to recognize who we are, and what keys we hold. She said that the upcoming conference will help many identify what they do with the keys they hold in their hand, and in their families, even though many times people have keys they cannot identify, lose or misplace keys, misuse and even break keys. "When these things happen, we are also missing the opportunity to open some closed doors, and lock some doors that are better closed," she further said. "Our conference brings to the city a powerful and respected guest speaker, Patricia Bailey-Jones. The ministry of Bailey-Jones has created tremendous impact for more than 25 years in over 100 countries around the world, bringing deliverance and salvation to thousands. Bailey-Jones is also familiar to many Bahamians because of her appearances on TBN, and now a weekly show on The Word Network. She is also featured on this month's cover of Chrisma Magazine, a popular Christian publication. Most recently she visited Freeport to speak at a Luncheon that was scheduled in conjunction with J.C. T.V's cruise with a cause, which saw more than 1,900 American passengers sail with The Carnival Imagination to Freeport and Nassau, for the cause of sharing the gospel of the kingdom of God. On Friday, during the conference, victory to the nations and Living Water Assembly will recognize three outstanding couples on Grand Bahama Island who are recognized as role models in their display of excellence and integrity in the areas of family life, tourism, education and business. These first time kingdom honorees are Pastors Philip and Margaritta Munroe of Word Of Life Ministries International; Ms. Jeritzan Edwards, Director of Tourism for the Northern Bahamas, Cecil and Barbara Thompson, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education and Principal of Walter Parker Primary School, and Kenth and Emil Symonette of Freeport Restaurants (KFC) and Awards & Signs; receiving the kingdom key awards for family life, tourism, education and marketplace, respectively. Sessions are scheduled for 7 p.m. today and Friday. The Saturday sessions are at 9 a.m. at Living Water Assembly, located on Chesapeake Drive, off Midshipman Road, and near the Lucayan International School. |
