The rainy season is looked forward to by most Bahamians because it means one thing Andros land crabs are walking, and many a household throughout the country will see Boiled Crab 'n' Dough for a Saturday meal, and Crab 'n' Rice as the star of many a Sunday dinner. Nassauvians, who don't have family in Andros, practically salivate at the mouth, as they wait for the boat to deliver Androsians to the capital each weekend with their crab sacks filled to capacity, so that they can purchase their weekend supply.
