Latin sensations Alejandra Guzman and Paulina Rubio will have you swaying to their seductive sounds when they perform on Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Atlantis.

French has always been considered the language of love, but when you hear these artists, you may have to reconsider what you think about Spanish.

Performing for one night each, these two beauties will definitely light up the stage with Guzman performing on Friday and Rubio on Saturday night.

Guzman, 40, a native of Mexico City, is a Latin Grammy Award–winning rock singer and actress. She has had a dedicated fan base throughout Latin America since the late 1980s, and is known as the "Queen of Rock" in the Hispanic world.

Guzmán, the daughter of Mexican actress Silvia Pinal and Venezuelan rock and roll singer Enrique Guzman, is also the half-sister of actress Silvia Pasquel.

Her debut album Bye Mama was produced in 1988, and yielded "La plaga", the first of many hits. This was soon over shadowed in 1990 when Guzmán scored one of the biggest hits of her career, the song "Eternamente Bella" (Eternally Beautiful), which became a number one hit in Mexico and other Hispanic countries. The song is considered a classic by many Spanish rock fans.

In 1991 she released Flor de Papel. One of the album singles, "Hacer El Amor Con Otro", became a smash hit for Guzmán, not only in Latin America and Mexico, but also in the U.S. The album was well received by critics and fans, and received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Latin Pop Album in 1992. The albums Libre and Enorme followed in 1993 and 1994, respectively.

In 2002, Guzmán won her first Latin Grammy Award for Best Rock Solo Vocal Album for Soy and in 2006, she released Indeleble. The first single was Volverte a amar, which became one of her biggest hits in Mexico and hit the Top 10 in the Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks.

Paulina Rubio, however, is not to be forgotten as this 37 Grammy, Latin Grammy and Latin Billboard nominated Mexican singer and actress, is also internationally known.

Paulina Rubio's last three Spanish-language albums have all consecutively peaked at the number one spot on Billboard's "Top Latin Albums" chart.

Rubio released her latest album "Ananda" on Sept. 19, 2006. It reached the number one spot in the U.S. and countries all over Latin America. It reached number 25 on U.S. Billboard's "Billboard Hot 200" albums chart, and it reached the number one spot on Billboard's "Top Latin Albums."
