Mother's Day, the second Sunday of May, is set aside to honor mothers for all they've done and the sacrifices they've made, and Bahamians from all walks of life are gearing up to show their mothers, and the women in their lives who were like mothers to them, how much they appreciate them.

The Nassau Guardian took to the streets to find out what that one thing is that reminds people of their mothers in anticipation of Mother's Day on Sunday, May 11.
